Last updated: August 4, 2026
At WanderRoot, we understand that travel plans can change. This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for our tours.
1. Tour-Specific Cancellation Policy
Cancellation terms may vary depending on the tour, destination, accommodation, transportation, permits, and other arrangements.
The cancellation policy displayed on an individual tour page or communicated during booking shall apply to that booking.
If no specific cancellation policy is mentioned for a tour, the General Cancellation Policy below will apply.
2. General Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise stated for a specific tour:
| Time Before Departure | Refund |
|---|---|
| More than 7 days | Full refund (excluding non-refundable third-party charges, if any) |
| 3-7 days | 50% refund |
| Less than 72 hours | No refund |
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method or another mutually agreed method.

Certain charges may be non-refundable, including but not limited to:

These charges may be deducted from the refundable amount where applicable.
4. Customized Tours
Customized or specially arranged tours may have different cancellation terms.
The applicable cancellation policy will be communicated before your booking is confirmed.
5. Cancellation by WanderRoot
In rare circumstances, WanderRoot may cancel or reschedule a tour due to:
- Severe weather

- Safety concerns
- Operational reasons
- Insufficient participation (if applicable)
If we cancel a tour before it begins, you will be offered one of the following, where feasible:

6. No-Show Policy
Failure to arrive at the designated pickup location at the agreed time without prior notice may be treated as a no-show.
No-shows are generally not eligible for a refund.
